Lanham and Company Recruitment

Lanham and Company is recruiting staff in all areas to join this expanding accountancy practice. Positions are available for qualified chartered and chartered certified, part qualified ACCA and  AAT.  Support staff including administration and secretarial are also required.

Work environment

Refurbished in 2017 our air conditioned offices are clean, well maintained and modern.  Natural lighting is good with disabled access to the ground floor office suite.  Refreshments including chilled water are provided.

Our location provides a pleasant setting in which to work avoiding the congestion and traffic problems associated with working in a town or city. Great Chesterford has a village shop and pubs providing food. With a rail station only a few minutes walk away, and Saffron Walden and Cambridge only a short car journey it does not restrict life in a non town environment.

Human Resources Department

Our HR department ensures that we follow best practice as an employer and we have written policies and procedures including a staff handbook.


We have always invested heavily in our IT. All staff are provided with the tools to enable them to do their work.

Staff meetings

All staff attend a weekly meeting. These cover practice matters, updates on clients and training. These meetings encourage the sharing of ideas.

Technical Committee

A formal technical committee meets monthly to discuss matters including:

  • Latest developments in legislation
  • Qualified audit reports
  • Enquiry work
  • Technical matters
  • Training updates needed
